There is always a race
There is always a race…
Like many, I have long been attracted to the pure notion of competition.
It starts when you are young, and you quickly realise that there is always someone quicker, bigger or smarter.
You need to work out a way.
Often the prize is vague, or personal, and sometimes you are underwhelmed when you achieve it, but that never stops you lining up for the next race.
Then you realise, velocity is never the answer for complexity…
…and you slow down.
This is a drawing from a little while ago, titled “There is always a race”.
